So our local county fair is doing the annual sled pull Saturday. I want to hook to the sled pretty bad, but with my luck I would demolish something in my truck. I've got sleeves, but my bars are turned a little bit (far from all the way up). I don't wanna take them down any for the pull. I was planning on running my PPE on level 7 in 4lo 3rd gear. How do you guys think my truck would hold up to that power level while pulling a sled???(b.t.w. I drive daily on the level 7 tune) Also, do you think my truck would be fine with my mods and be kinda safe??

you should be good to go man. just do it and have fun. i would recomend turning your torsion bars down all the way though. kind of a gamble if you don't

Let 'er eat! Even if the front tires pidgeon tow like crazy while you pull, your probably not going to break anything unless you get some wheel hop. You just have to know when to back off, which is not a trait most avid truck pullers possess :rolleyes:

you're doing more damage to your stock tranny daily driving in the 7th power level then you would in 4lo, i'd crank it up all the way for sled pulling. and just for peace of mind turn your T-bars all the way down, an alignment is way way cheaper than new tierods / CV's

Alright... I think I'm gonna do it, but you guys have me talked into turning the bars all the way down. Should I take the bolts out or almost out??? And what power level would you run?? I'm just afraid it won't get the fuel it needs on level 10...I'd like it to smoke pretty good though!!!!! :D

with all the mods in my sig i run my ATS E-power at level 8 (315hp) with no de-fueling, stock tranny shifts pretty fine. I've pulled like that about 6 times with no issues.

you'll do pretty damn good to! i've been top 5 every pull so far.
