From time to time my power windows go up and down very slow mostly when the engine is not running and sometimes when it is. I know that they are slow due to lack of voltage when the engine is off but these are terible they almost stall they are so slow. note this still happens sometimes when the engine is running. These are the worst power windows have ever seen.-:t

Have you taken it in to have them looked at. Mine where doing the same thing and I took mine in, they plugged in a Tech II, cleared some stuff off and did a few things, have no idea what and they were fine after that...

I'm taking the truck in tomorrow for a bunch of stuff, thanks for the reply was just wondering if anybody else had the same thing and what it was.

Have you checked battery voltage......batteries might be on their way out. :(

I had a similar problem with my 99. The window motors have a regulator that goes bad. Lost the drivers and then the passengers within 4 months.

Got the truck back, dealer put new regulaters in both windows. They work great now.

Had to get the regulator replaced in my passenger side window, wasnt lucky enough for it to just be slow, it got stuck down.
