What is the best way to check the 4x4 function?

The truck should feel very different while driving in 4WD just put it in for a short time on the test drive. On the other hand, you could try a boosted launch:ro) .

I don't think you can tell much with the Ally other than looking at the fluid color/smell and look to see that the spin on has been changed. It could drive weird thanks to the adaptive learn.

I would avoid a truck with any aftermarket performance products with the emption of add-on fuel, oil filters, and what not. Go over everything my Blazer had a chip in one of the window, broken latch on the console, leak in the rear washer fluid line, the dealer drained all of the Freon out of the AC and more. They fixed it all before I bought it.

Might want to look at the exhaust manifolds for signs of a pyro. That is if you want a virgin truck. This dosent mean that it never did have a power adder but is something to look for. Maintenance records aer allways nice to see as well.

Check to see how full the blinker fluid is becuase that is really hard to find. And ask them when the last time they checked the spark plugs. Being serious now, drive it like you hate it. If it holds up to you abuse without a problem...everything should be in good working order.

You didn't mention the muffler bearings what you’re you thinking, this guy could have bought a real lemon with bad muffler bearings.:badidea:

yeah thats it Dozerboy...I knew I was forgetting something...he would have bought a really bad truck if it wasnt for us.
