When I install the 110 hp tune and drive it responsibly (no hard throttle hits) the trans feels like it is low on fluid and it seems to be slipping in between shifts and when it is locked up at speed (35 to 55) it seems to go in and out of gear. :confused: I have never put the throttle to the floor with this tune. :mad: The 70 hp tune is also very strange. I have gone back to the economy tune and the 50 hp tune. There it seems to be pretty happy. I don't have any trans mods or exhaust mods yet. What is going on? I have also reset the trans both times I have changed the tune.

When is the last time the tuner was updated? I had the same issue with my Quad on my LLY and when i took it to Quad 2 weeks ago and had it updated with the revised tunes it seemed to help the shifting alot.
Resetting the trans will take a little while to relearn. I would recommend if you do the relearn start with a smaller tune and work your way up, thats what worked for me after my build.

i have the same problem with mine, but a lot of guys told me it has alot to do with the defueling points that the stealth has programmed into it. they recommended going with the transgo jr. kit, but i havent got around to that yet. i just keep it low for now until i get the cash to lay down on some tranny upgrades :P

My Quad Stealth2 is only about a month or so old. Do I need to install a tune and run it awhile?

If you just load the tune and do a trans. relearn after it's ready to retrain trans. Just go drive it easy as first around town and then start getting to it like 10 miles later. Punch tow/haul and make that your drag training program for when you want to get on it. These top 2 tunes make power watch the 4-5-6 hard shifts out of tow/haul. Defuel is just trying to help tranny. Built tranny diff. deal.
