Well as a few of you may know from another thread, I had a strange problem...SES light came on no power (not a limped tranny...OnStar guy said something about fuel rail pressure/emmissions controls) etc... Well I cycled the key 50 times and it went out. But now I almost wish that I hadent cleared the DTC. Will the dealer (with a Tech II) still be able to pull up a history of DTC's even though the SES light is out? If I dont ever find out what set that DTC or what DTC it was, it will continue to bother me!!:mad: Does the BCM/ECM store a history of DTC's even after they have been "cleared"?? I did not have any scan tool hooked up to the truck; i simply made the SES go out with a buncha key cycles.
