I just heard about this programmer for the first time. My question is if its a programmer, how can the claim that it "doesnt leave fingerprints" on the computer, how could it be a programmer?
Has anyone used this device? Does it actually work?

Moved to Fourth Gen Electronics.
The MP8 is more like a "harness box" programmer. It plugs in-line between the sensors and the computer and manipulates the signals to achieve the power gain. IIRC, the MP8 manipulates the Fuel Pressure signals, which in turn effects the injection pulsewidth. Because it never "flashes" the ECM, there is never a fingerprint to leave.
However, on the LMM's and up, the TCM will always record the calculated torque reference. But, that would be tho only tattle tail for the MP8.

I installed mine about a year ago, works as advertised. You will have to modify (shim) the fuel pressure sensor or you will limp the truck if you put your foot into it. Otherwise, pretty straightforward little gizmo.
