i put an LLY into my 04 LB7 truck, i am finishing up splicing some wires that go to the tranny because they were cut on the LLY truck. the lly has one extra wire that the LB7 didnt have and it goes from pin #30 on connector 2 (red) of TCM to the round 20 pin connector towards back pass side of tranny. not sure if i need this wire or what to do. it is circuit number 1530 and its Function is Modulated Main Pressure.

Probably the wire for the G solenoid which the LLY uses and LB7 doesn't. Don't have a wire diagram in front of me to check. If I'm correct it does not matter.

Modulated main pressure would be the wire for the G sol located by itself on the small add on body attached to the bottom of the valve body. But a 2004 should have this as well? 2001-2003's did not have G, 2004 and later did. Mike L's right, it will work without it. You just lose the main pressure knockdown for lower pressure and more cooling flow at idle.
