My 05 LLY rolls when I put the tranny into park ever since the end of the input shaft snapped off and it was replaced with a Suncoast billet input & output shaft. The truck used to engage almost immediately when put into park, but now rolls what seems to be forever before going into park. It's bad enough that the parking brake has to be set before releasing the brake when hooking up a trailer, or the truck rolls and the tongue of the trailer hits the bumper.:confused:

The only part in the park assembly that could wear/stretch is the spring. The spring probably stretched when the rear housing was removed--after thinking about it it looks like the spring pre-loads the park mechanism if it lost tension, it might cause this delay your now experiencing.
