Just looking for opinions, I am not really happy about some of the things that I am paying for on the quote but bottom line is I can lock in an 06 at an 05 price plus a small up-charge for the 06 ($1250). If the MSRP ends up being lower on the 06 then I get that price. The only thing this quote doesnt include on the LT is the DVD, sunroof, off road spare tire and dual alternators (at least that I can think of). The first price on each line is MSRP, the second is what I pay. remember, although the stuff you see is for an 05 I will be getting an 06 at this price. I will probably order right now just to lock in my price as I am gaurenteed the lowest price they can get. What do you guys think?

my dealer told me that the 06 prices were going to be no higher than the 05 and gm wanted to get out of the rebates and other gimics to sell trucks, with a one low price figure on the trucks and no lower for the year, that is what he was told, but i have had no prices yet for a 06

Yes, you are reading it right. I am not crazy about the markup and the 06 price increase, those 2 total to $2400. The nice thing about this deal is if the 06 price (when it does come out) is less that what I am doing right now then I get the lower price. Plus, if more discounts or rebates come around I get those. I also get whatever incentives that they offer when I actually pick up the truck. I think I will probably go ahead and order. I will post when they get 06 pricing, it should be within a week or 2.

I went ahead and ordered my truck, LT loaded minus DVD and sunroof came to $39,500. I will be taking delivery on 8 Feb 06. I can still make a few changes to the order if I want (not sure about the tow mirrors, I will hardly ever tow and dont like the looks) and they are researching for me if I can order it in one of the SEO special order colors. Overall I am happy with the price and cant wait to get my new truck

I get the lowest price available, gaurenteed. If they lower it then I pay the lower price.
