Will the Navigation head unit interface with the rear seat entertainment package with the dvd in the headliner?

DURAtotheMAX 07-23-2005, 05:48 PM It actually works a lot better with the nav than the standard UC6 (6-disc) radio...with the nav you can select whether you want to mute RSE audio (and use head phones), just play RSE audio on the front speakers. Or just play it on the back speakers. Or play it on both. The LUX amp requires you to make wiring changes at the amp connectors in the console. It is not difficult. There are several threads on this board on this very subject. He says he is NOT converting the trucks to a Bose system. GM does make a headunit that will work in non-Bose trucks but I have not been able to find the part number. You could try calling model electronics or specmo. New units will cost ~$1600. | ||
