I am in the process of finding a Tech 2... I want one to talk to my truck as well as my dad's and to have for the shop... ( I have DTC and analysis Software with our NC Emissions System)

Does anyone know if you can only get TSB updates if you are GM Dealership???

Does GM Performance Parts not offer any type of software to update the folks who race Late-models like the Diesel, Corvette, and F-body guys????

I am sure GM doesn't want to let every yahoo have free reign on the servers to modify folks cars/trucks without hitting the dealership first..
So basically anyone with any information, let me know as I don't understand why I have seen so many folks wth Tech II's if they aren't able to update them they lose half the appeal of buying it in the first place..
