Yesterday I installed a Dipricol Pyrometer and today had an MBRP dual exhaust installed. Comments on the info in the table would be appreciated. Seems like these temps are hot compared to others I've read about. I do live in the desert though and its hot right now. Truck was empty and not towing anything.
Before exhaust After exhaust
Outside temp = 91 Outside temp = 108
Speed Temp -----------------Speed Temp
Idle 450------------------------Idle 400
50 mph cruise 800--------------50 mph cruise 750
70 mph cruise 1050-------------70 mph cruise 750
WOT to 80 1300------------Traffic wouldn't allow

moved to exhaust section.
by the looks of your numbers you still have your kitty installed.. correct?
if you do just a catback or just a front pipe, the drop is about 50-100 degress. An entire system is about 200 degrees.

Sorry for posting in the wrong place. Yes, Cat is still installed. Didn't want to mess with it for emissions and warranty.

I have a 2002 LB7 with the full 4" from the turbo back.
Idle will drop to 350 degrees.......
Cruising will drop to 650-700 but I run the Xtreme daily so the engine has plenty of HP/TQ so little pedal is necessary......
WOT.........I'll bury that 1600 degree pyro...........
Just My Observations.........
