Lined it up at the lights and boosted her hard. Pulled a 7.95 in the 8th. Got to the end of the track and couldn't stop and had a SOB of a time to steer her. I heard talk a while back that it could be the power steering pump shaft that failed. Both the steering and brake reserves are full and the belt is still there. I got a complete pump here at the house but I just want to be sure before I start tearing into things. Also do any of you know how hard of a job this is? Are there any special tools required? Thanks. Is the belt on? I had this happen to me, but my belt popped off.
