Trying to get the new truck (05 2500HD DMax) ready for my first run with my Goosneck Horse trailer. B&W Hitch, sprayed in bedliner, and 6 way plug. after i got truck from hitch store hooked to the trailer and NO Worky! worked for 2 hours and all i could get to work was the running lights. finally gave up for the night and came in and was bumfuzzled. finally got some time to think and checked plug from the factory that was on the truck and no voltage to anything except the running light spade and the power spade. any ideas from anyone? wil try to find this weekend before i take it to the dealer on Monday.:help:

I can't be much help except for one word: Fuses.

There are two fuse panels. 1 under the hood, and a second in the driver's door front jamb.

Were the fuses blown or just not installed. I do not have power to my 05 and I am looking into it today.

The reason you don't have power is there is shunt in place of a fuse under the hood. It is the fuse that is in the very front passenger side corner of the under hood fuse block.

both fuses were blown. the panel inside the cab that you see when you open the door. they are labled trl. stop/turn.
power fuse goes under the hood on what they call stud 1

keep an eye on your CHMSL (center high mount stop light) labeled fuse in your DS fuse panel, that was an irritation for me twice. only happened when connecting my 6 round to me 7 way RV connector, but have not seen it again.
