04 lilly, not the truck below in my sig, its a friends truck. Completely stock.... Tranny is throwing almost every code possible, shift range inhibited when you try reverse. Forward goes into gear but will barely creep. Its not a NSBU, nor the ignition switch, installed mine on his truck today. With efi, if i put it in second gear and hit tc lock, you can feel it try, but it doesnt kill the truck or anything. I think the tc is shot, but Im not sure thats all his issues. Prolly tranny too, but its throwing so many codes I dont even know what to think. Any thoughts guys or gals?

Ill have to go back over and get them. Ok, more to the story here. I just gathered this part of the story. He got is tranny really really hot, toasted it. Bought a used one, out of an "02" well.... I was just over there looking at it with him again a few minutes ago. The tranny is an 06 tranny.. Making it a 6 speed... No wonder it doesnt want to work with the 5 speed programming.. What would a person have to do to make it work? Ill try to get the codes in sequence tomorrow if time permits and you would still like to know Mike. But the whole story comes out, and you may have a simple cure Mike. Thanks!
