My CPP went out yesterday and I have jumped the ignition voltage pin to the starter relay coil pin on the Metri-pack plug with a small cotter pin. I would like to keep it disabled, is there any functional problem with doing so? I understand the risk that I might start the motor in gear but beyond that is there any other problems?
