Just wondering if a 2008 Durmax motor has the same stats as a 2009 modle. I own a 2009 Duramax Dump Truck and im looking at a 2008 Duramax 2500hd crew cab and Im going to pull a dump trailer behind it sooo I was wondering if they are about equal in power and towing

Yes they have the same motor if they're both duramaxes

If it's in a kodiak or topkick I believe it has different tuning than a pickup.
