My CC LB LBZ 4X4 is 7,015 lb

I would say the difference is my weight, hard cover, spray in liner, steel slide rack, and a few tools.

My 3500 CC LB 4x4 is 7150 by the scales. I would think you would be in that range.

So, I asked this question because I am kicking around the idea of possibly putting a two post lift in my shop. Does anyone have any input on this, recommendations, do's/don'ts, anything helps.
This will just be used for my personal vehicles and the heaviest thing I would be lifting is my truck or something similar to it.
Thanks,
Jake

I have an 8K two post lift, you need to make sure that it is installed correctly. The company that installed the lift "impacted" the redheads in and the lift fell first time I raised my truck (that same afternoon)! Then they tried to tell me that the truck was more than 8K. I ended up knocking the redheads through and installing grade 8 all thread (A-2 is the correct name I think) with a structual epoxy. I check the torque regularly and have had no more problems in four years.

Thanks for the heads up. What brand is your lift?

Never use any kind of impact device to tighten the bolts in concrete. They are to be torqued by hand and periodically checked by hand. Every time the impact gun "impacts" it actually breaks the concrete, giving you nothing for the bolts to bind to.
