I'm getting ready to install my green keys and I need a GM Torsion Bar Unloading Tool. I live in Riverside Ca and was kinda hoping someone local to my area might have this tool that I could borrow for a couple of days. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm also looking for a torsion bar unloading tool. Where can I get one?

A ball joint press tool will also do the job. It looks like an oversized c-clamp. Any autozone will loan them out to you.

Try Ebay, don't use a c-clamp I broke 4 while trying to do mine

Maybe I should start renting mine out? Please don't use a C-clamp.

Maybe you should Tom, Eric gets $90 to use it.

By the way I start drooling uncontrolably when I see your avator, :Whoa:

Eric gets $90 because people kept keeping them. He had to keep buying them. I'd have to charge $150 to discourage that. If you Google it, you can find this tool for $100 + shipping.

The part number is OTC 7822A
