Yes you can put it on, but you will get CEL's. Might cause the truck to go into limp mode due to how the EGR, DPF, all the emission stuff works together:confused:. Need a tuner to turn EGR off or turn off reporting of EGR codes, one or the other. Chris

Don't quote me, but EFIlive, Edge Race tuners (lvl 1,2,3 only disable the CEL's with the EGR, lvl 4,5,6,7 will disable EGR motor), PPE Hot +2, Quad S2 (disable CEL with EGR, nothing with the motor) are the most common ones used to delete DPF and disable or turn off EGR codes. Might be others, but I don't know anything about them. Chris

OO ok Chris I will look into this a bit more maybe someone can chime in that does know some also and confirm this or not. I did not even know there was a motor for the egr..... Crap! I take it that it is electric then if the programmer stops the motor huh? So sounds like an egr block plate and a programmer that will stop the motor from running and stop the CEL's. what is the CEL's?

Check Engine Light, there is coolant that runs through it as well to keep things cool, also a common area to get leaks. There are just a few tuners/programmers that can delete the DPF/EGR, due to it being "offroad" only mod. Chris
