I have an 09 with 6500 miles. I just noticed that the oil pressure gauge has a second or two lag before it moves after truck is started. Temperatures around here are in the 90s and the oil life says 58%. It has about 3,000 miles on the oil. Truck runs fine. I do not believe the lag or hesitation was always present. It seems to maintain pressure fine while running and oil is full. I believe that typically as soon as the engine fired the oil gauge moved now it hesitates. Should I be concerned? Maybe just get the oil changed and see if it continues or not worry about? Thanks.....

Get an engine monitor like the Edge insight if you want to see what it really is - factory gages for looks only.

Mine has maybe 3 seconds delay before the gauge comes up. Doesn't sound unusual to me.
