I have the an 05 durmax and am towing things stuff at less than 10,000 lbs. I have read a lot of stuff and many claim they increase the mileage some. I am not looking to make my truck a race machine, just looking for to increase the mpg's a little. A friend recomended the bully dog power pup. Whats the thought???

the prodigy set to 65 gave me about 15% increase in mileage.

most of the tuners/chips increase your mileage, but it all comes down to your right foot. I'd say sit down and do some reading in this section on the pros and cons of edge, hypertech, predator, banks, etc...they are all in here with info for the reading.

As Briano said, most tuners/boxes will help out with fuel mileage. Its all HOW you drive them. If you are going strictly for mileage, I would go with either the Edge EZ or the PPE Economy Xcelerator.

I would go with EDGE, good milage improvements, if you keep your foot out of it. I ride the hell out of my truck and I am getting 23mpg...I bet if I stay off of it I would probably get 26ish maby more....I should try that sometime...nah!!
