Just installed ssdiesel marine injectors in my 97 k3500 sierra 1 ton dually

Started fine , idled for 20 - 30 mins
Drove 3-4 miles max speed 50
After 10 mins rapping noise started increases with rpm

HELP

Do you have any injector lines touching a valve cover? That makes a pretty loud rap.

Got to be careful. Heard marine injectors will make your valves float. :)

The rapping stopped just as quickly as it started
Think air in injectors??
Was concerned that it started after idled and was driven for 30- 40 mins

No,Silly boy,the valves stopped floating as the water receded!!! LOL

Not sure what people mean by floating valves

I didn't even know they made life preservers that small.
