The bolts that are the hinge point for the hood ( I have the stationary grill) vibrated loose, drivers side is gone, passenger side is missing nut.

No big deal, called the dealer and they are mailing me some bolts (over 100 miles away)

Most of my driving is off road or plowing snow (05 5500 4x4 with 4300 miles on it) Lots of vibration going on.

Hell, we have hood hinge problems on our 8500 topkicks, premature wear, bolts coming loose etc. Very common.
