well i started modifing a tune from the tune library for more power and now the truck is studdering between 2000 and 2600 rpm under about 50 to 60 percent throttle but when im at wide open throttle at those rpm's its fine just changed my fuel filter today and it still does it one time it felt like it darn near shut off going down the road if anyone could look at the tune for me and maybe find a problem or let me know if you think its something to do with the truck

just figured out how to upload it. any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated and i forgot to mention there doesnt seem to be an increase in acceleration or power from 70 to 100 percent throttle

it wont unzip, my computer says file corrupted, go to: duramaxdiesels.com and you can upload it as a tune file without zipping.

well i just got home from the track and all i can say is wow. that is alot better then the way i had it all i did was up the rev limiter so i could hold 4th to the end of the track but for some reason i still couldnt rev past 3600 i have the soft set at 4000 and hard at 4200 checked all the tables under fuel and there all maxed out as im sure you know. well the truck ran a best of 14.4820 @ 93.93 mph and a 60ft of 2.343. i only have 2wd and it is a big dually the rear tires had 80psi in them as well my previous best was 14.93 @ 89 mph the truck also ran much smoother and shifted great oh and my other run was a 14.4830 so it is very consistent

now get a good tcm tune with the shift points raised to 3600 rpms, and add some fuel to the pw tables, but just in the lower right corner to get a little more out of the tune, but do it in small increments till you start loosing rail pressure.

ill work on the tcm tune do i need to raise the rpm and speed points or will just the rpm do it i already built a pretty good tcm tune with faster shift times and with what you sent me it shifts great i just have to hold 4th till the end of the track or it limps ill work on the PW what kind of increments should i adjust in im thinking about 5% i really appreciate all your help im gonna get the truck weighed tommorow so i can get a decent figure of hp.

at this point I would go up in increments of "25" from 160 mpa and up on the bottom 2 rows only, forget about percentages
If your truck is shifting good then I would not worry about messing with the tcm now. You are at the limits of a stock transmission, I don't think holding it to 4th gear is gonna save it much longer.

im just hoping to get 1 run in the 13's with the stock trans im hoping by clamping the springs and droping the pressure in the tires i can do it i dont wnat to add to much more power. i appreciate all your help and i cant thank you enough
