The first of the month I had all 8 injectors replaced and the FPR replaced...the truck is purring like a kitten.....

My truck is Canadian model so I guess it doesn't have the exact same warranty (thats what the service writer said) so I had to pay the 100 dollar deductable (No problem money well spent)
Anyway they replaced some cooling lines?, the injectors, FPR, adjusted the linkage for the tranny and something else that escapes me......

Yesterday in the mail I got a 100 dollar check from the dealer.....all it said on it was the General covered all work under Warranty?

Well besides the Diesel Service writer being a bum on the fact I would have liked to had my valve lash check/adjusted while they were replacing my injectors, he said there was no need and actually told me they were hydraulic.....When I went to pick up the truck (of course after work and after the service department was gone) I left a book for Ron to read on the Sh*tter the next morning from the valve lash post on here and some other engine specs stuff I found.....

I think they did a pretty great job my truck s running great and they offered a loaner and had it done in a couple days......

If you ever need work done in Western Washington (tacoma area) I wouldn't hesitate to take it to Parkland Chevy

wow, you are very lucky..but thats the way service should be.

Glad you had a good experience. Mine has never ran better than after the injectors were replaced.
