I have a 96 burban and am looking to add a lift kit to it. Is it adviseable to replace the front axle with a solid axle or leave the independent suspension I have now?

Daily driver.

No off roading, just the shoulder of the highway and sometimes the grassy median

I'd go ifs if you're only going 4" and just street driving it
