First tune I've made for anything other than my truck so I'm a little paranoid about the changes I've made. The goal was a +50hp tow safe tune. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Also a guestimate on HP gain. Thanks again.

I don't see anything really, but I haven't tuned an LMM. You don't need to raise Pedal Position below 80% like you did same goes for TQ bases fuel and the Main pluse. Just think if your just cruising along at 2000 RPMs and 30%TP why would you add fuel? I think you could gain a bit of knowledge from more logging.

I know I could, but I dont really know what Im doing with logging. Please dont tell me to search on here, because Ive been searching for months and have yet to find any helpful info on what to log or what to analyze in the log files. If someone could point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it. Maybe some kind of Efi Live/Logging for dummies somewhere on here or just some pointers would be awesome. Thanks for looking.

I'm not one to help you with how to log since I'm no expert. I just played with until I got it to work. I do log via the V2 and think its easier but mainly I don't want to deal with a laptop. What to log is easy they have pre-made PID list set up for you. You just need to select it then you can add or rmove them as you see fit. Your looking to see if your truck is doing what you have in your tune. Only make small changes at a time. You have log different driving conditions like WOT runs, cruising, city driving, ETC and learn what parts of what tables are used at what times. You don't have to log all day just at few short logs of taking off from a stop light easy then harder and harder. You can high light the log and with the tune open it will highlight those area of the tables you where running at. Then do a WOT run at a safe place to a safe speed. I do go up to 80 its faster then you need to go but I have the room. I would at least get up into 4th gear for a little bit. I only log WOT runs now really and log my speed. I make changes then go do it again to see if its faster. DSP5 really helps with this or its an all day project. Keep in mind you have to stay consistent with your logs weather, 4WD or 2WD, boosted launch or non it has to be the same. If I don't log for a while I always run the last the last tune I logged so I can compare.

I know you don't want to hear search but that is what has to be done. There are lots of small tidbits of info in post all over the place that will help you get the big picture.

I log these but I have a LBZ so you may not have some of these or they could be named differently.

Thank you very much for the quick lesson. Im definitely a beginner and your explanation should help me get started.
