Tires I'm currently running are Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac's. LT265/75R16's. Has anyone had these and had issues with them howling? I'm pretty sure it's the tires that are howling. Maybe something else, but I'm pretty sure it's these damn tires. Any advice on the tires, or if possibly something else is GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks.

Yes, mine howl a bit. No worse than my wife's BFG AT's though. Pretty bad cupping/wear too. My main concern with these has been the swaying while towing though. The sidewalls seem like jelly. Some of it is probably because I have them on the stock PYO's. They are pretty good off road though. Can't have your cake and eat it too I guess.

Mine seem to howl real bad around 70-80 Km/h. Anything about that and they aren't as bad. They definently are annoying on long trips though. Wanted to make sure I wasn't only one with these tires and having howling. Nitto graplers seem to be the best thing out there. Might have to try some

Have you towed anything fairly large with them? Am I the only one that thinks they sway real bad while towing? I just took a 2000+ mile trip with them and I think I sort of tuned the howling out. Mileage definitely took a solid drop with these too.

Most I've towed with them was 12,000 LB's and didn't notice too much swaying? Then again I had truck on 120 Km/h on cruise and was in a hurry to get home. Haha. My mileage is pretty good with these tires so far. I'm getting 21-22 Mpg highway and 16-17 in the city driving fairly easy.
The howling is really driving me crazy though! Sounds like the hubs are about to blow up or something. Wonder if less or more air pressure would help?

Well I'm just waiting on my Predator to land, then I plan on finishing these tires off with a bang. Then I'm gonna get into something better. Also, the truck is being checked over this morning to make sure the howling is indeed the tires, and not a bad hub, ball joint, brakes, etc. Just want to make sure I'm on the safe side.
