I have a 1998 2500 Diesel Suburban I absolutely love! I am having problems w/ the A/C not cooling properly. When the rear A/C unit is turned on it steals from the front robbing it of colling temperature and air flow. I feel like the system should be blowing harder and cooler. How do I trouble shoot? Where can I get a diagram of the entire A/C system. Where do I locate the valves on the front and rear?
I live in Savannah, GA and it is freaking HOT here! Help!

Temperature and air flow are separate issues. To chase down temperature, put some gauges on the unit and make sure you have a full charge. For air flow, I've had to replace the front blower at least once and the relay and resistor once as well. On high w/recirculate on, it should really be blowing hard. Is your alternator working well?

U am getting good refrigerant readings. On high it feels like it is cooling fine reading 50 degrees but the airflow is not like it should be, feeling more like it would on medium setting. Does the relay or resistor control airflow??how do know what to replace?
