This weekend I did the LBZ/Donaldson filter housing mod from AFE. Anyone else do this, and do you think it helped anything?

I did the PPE mod which is probably very similar and the truck seems to run better, spool quicker with a 1 mpg increase in mileage.

And it beats the heck out of one of those aftermarket intake kits that cost a bazillion $$$$.

i did the PPE and didnt really notice a huge difference but i like the price(free) compared to an $400 aftermarket box. there was a long thread about how you dont need any more airflow than what the modded box will give you till after about 500hp or something like that
