Hey all.

Neighbour in the campground just bought a 2003, 3500 Ram with the Cummins.

His problem is that his cruise control light comes on, but does not enguage.

Any ideas that I can pass along to him? It would be appreciated.

Also, what would be a good specialized forum for him to look into?

it may sound obvious but does he push the set button after turning the cruise on? Cruise light turns on when cruise is powered not by the set button.

Yep. Hits the set button, and nothing.

Also check to make sure the brake light is not on when the brake isn't pushed. This won't let the cruise engage. A simple switch adjustment under the steering column if a problem. Had it on a car and was a booger to diagnose since it was intermittent.
