After the truck sits overnite, it stalls 3-5 seconds after starting. It won't restart for 5-6 minutes. The dealer kept it overnight and couldn't duplicate the problem, so I am trying to note every time it happens hoping to get a clue. Except for this intermittant starting problem the engine runs normally.

sounds like it's sucking air....probably around the fuel filter. Several post on a poor installation of the filter where removing it, checking to be sure the gasket is OK and the drain tight...reinstalled and everything good.

I have a new clue for the intermittant stalling problem. It seems to happen only if I park on a slope. When I park in my garage it never has the problem. When I park in my drive way which is on a slight slope, it has the problem, but only if it sits for over 12 hours.
