Ok last night I noticed that the power and tune knobs on my Bose 6 disc headunit aren't lit up. I seem to remember that they were.... or am I imagining?
Can anyone confirm if both should have lights behind them?

Both buttons are lit. Every radio light is paired with another in a series circuit. Maybe the two that are out are twins.

So how does one go about fixing this?

Are there replacement bulbs or what?

The official answer for a burned out light is to replace the radio, which my dealer happily did under warranty for a flaky light that I had. This wouldn't have been much of a problem for me if it hadn't taken them 3 hours to program the new radio while I was waiting. I looked into doing it myself first. I don't remember a whole lot, but the front panel is a separate subassembly that detaches from the radio. Opening it up is a maddening exercise in unlatching plastic parts from one-another. When I saw that I needed at least one new bulb I put it back together and took it in for the new radio.
The bulbs are soldered in. The closest I've seen for new bulbs is at http://www.corvetteradios.com/Page7.html . They say these only go up to the 02 model year, so they might not be the right thing. If these don't work, somebody will need to find a suitable 6 volt substitute bulb.

I'll take it in and see if its covered under my extended warranty.
That might be the easiest way.
