I finally got my frame built, sandblasted and bed liner sprayed on it and got the Propane tank, Nitrous tank, compressor and air tank mounted. Now to get it all hooked up. :) Yes, I know the Nitrous bottle isn't installed right side up. Just wanted the SD Label in the picture. :ro)

I'd be really intersted to know how much height both the Nitrous and propane tanks require.

PM Super Diesel..he can get it for you. It is an 8 gallon tank...it will also install where the spare tire mounts.

The Nitrous tank will require about 10 inches. The Propane Tank is a 10 x 32 tank but is 12 inches high when mounted. You also have to leave room so that you can fill it. I built the shelf 6 inches high. You could also get a remote fill or just loosen one of the bolts on each side and rotate it when you need to fill it. I still have to vent it overboard somehow. Still working on that.

I'd be really intersted to know how much height both the Nitrous and propane tanks require.

Give Wade a call......he knows his stuff and is great to talk to. You could have purchased his setup, ready to install with remote fill... or you could purchase the brackets and/ore remote fill lines. Tell him hoot sent ya!

Very nice install. I just ordered SD's nitrous system today and comtemplating where I want to mount the bottle...behind seat or in my truck box. Have some research to do as I'm new to the NOS scene.

I gave wade a call and he said it will not work for a extended cab. Any advise to make it fit w/ that size tank? (I don't like the way it fits behind the hitch)

The 5.5 gallon 10x 23 tank , Manchester Model 6812 and 6813 RV Vapor tanks will work on the extended cab and should last between 600-800 miles of constant use.

600-800 miles hmmm. Maybe I will go w/ that tank. If I can get a good deal I will go for that setup. I will check SD right now.
