I have seen the Saway Away Big Truck Torsion bars from Sway Away, but I have been unable to find them. I have the 3500 model and would love to purchase them now if I could. They are supposed to have the best ride and they come with splined keys for adjustment. Attention venders, if you find them I will buy.............:grd:

I checked their website:
http://www.swayaway.com/PowerBarz%20frameset.htm
I didn't see anything on anything for the 2500 or 3500. Only the "LUV" truck was mentions. Suggest you give them a call.

I don't see how this would work. Either they have a higher or lower spring rate. What else could they change? Maybe I'm missing something.

First they splined the keys for adjustment, not just change the clock, second they are from an alloy stock machined to exact tolerances. Sway Away has been known for there Torsion bars in Sandrails, Desert Runners Etc. Now if I could only find some to try.

Sway-a-way make good stuff. I'm running there 2" race runners on my Jeep, the fronts have tripple by-pass, the rears and standard race runners. Right now I'm re-doing the frame and will be building in their 4" nitrogen bump stops front and rear.
If they take the time to make it I'm sure its worth it, I just don't see how a torsion bar with the same spring rate would ride noticably different. Hope you find thm and can report back.

Glamis44,
A couple of years ago I went to the OffRoad expo in Pomona and I asked the Sway away vendor if they were planing on developing any new Tbars for our trucks, since they do alot of Tbars. He said that at the time they didn't, but they may in the future if they feel it would sell in the market. If you want to wait for the next expo you can ask them personally. It's usually the first week in October, that would be my advise. Later
