O.K. I just upsized my tires and i have the bug to play with the truck now. I am thinking about the predator/ edge/ bulldog. My questions are all these down load the stock program so if I need to go back to the dealer I dump the stock program back in and he never notices. if it throws codes I can clear them. Is this correct if not i will wait till I atleast get to my 36,000 mile warranty to play. Next question. If I get the edge/attitude or BD equivilant it takes place of gauges. How does this work. do I still install probes for this to get the readings off of or does it get is some magical way? Sorry if this is simple I have been unable to find the info in any search.

A programmer (Predator, BD Power Pup, PPE Xcelerator, Etc.) will upload you stock tune and replace it with one of its own. When you need to go to the dealer, simply return the truck back to the stock tune, erase all codes (if any) and you are good to go. With a harness type box (Juice/***.) in order to use the pyromoeter features you will have to drill and tap the exhaust manifold.
