LMM guys 2007.5 - 2010 need your help, ASAP PLEASE

I have 4 problem with my truck and i know a lot more people have the same problems.

1. Exhaust Smell in cab thought A/C vents

2 . Weak Steering / Brakes / Hydro boost

3. Door / Cab Seal making noise

4. Sometime will not start w/ good batteries

In cab smell I have posted a fix under totalrecall , won't start with good batteries? Needs a full charge: had this prob too after dealer replaced the batts, works great now. Hard steering, let me know when dealers come up with something, I had the same complaint, works better when you add air requirement but too rough. Door seals, had mine replace too. No more noise. Hope this helps
Brakes and hydro boost, never an issue yet.

Smell: Took off the DOC and DPF in favor of a turbo-back system.

Starting: There was a recall for the ECM reflash that took care of a starting issue. But, I went one step further and threw away the stock Delco batts at 2 years and put two Optima red-tops in. No more leaks. No more slow starts.

Squeaks: When I dress the tires, I rub some of the tire dressing on the weatherstrips. Keeps everything nice and quiet.

Haven't noticed ANY weak steering or brakes. They're both significantly better than my '98 was.

What exactly do you need help with?:confused:

What's the point of this poll? All of these issues have been discussed at length. If you need help fixing any of them, then search is your friend...

my door squeaks, the steering feels stiff when stopped since larger rims and tires which is normal.

No issues with the truck.I just don't get to drive it enough..that's my only issue.

because there are a lot of poeple with these problems, i thought in the poll you chould check more them one. i have all these problem and they cant fix any of them. the bbb is going to hear my case in a two weeks, and gm saying all of these problem are because of aftermarket parts, wrong. so iam going to show the bbb a lot of poeple have these problems. thanks guys..

You should have a poll question that says I do not have any of the above problems. That would be my vote, I know that probably does not help you but that would have to be my vote.

The door gasket issue...late version of the gasket is different and works to stop squeeks,dealer replaced mine and also installed 3m anti squeek tape on door where gaskets make contact....super quiet now for several weeks

My only complaint is the steering shaft clunk/squeak that I'm going to fix myself with a Borgensen new style from Jeg's. My truck has never been back to the dealer since the day I bought it. It's the best truck I ever bought next to my 2000 1500 GMC 4x4 only thing it had done was tailgate straps changed. I can't complain on this one...That's 10 yrs. of history for time frame.
