I am running a set of Nitto Terra Grapplers in 325/65/18. I have been running them at around 50 PSI cold and they seem to handle and ride great. In reviewing a lot of the threads, it seems everyone else is running much higher pressures.

Anybody running this exact tire and did they confirm the pressure by contacting Nitto? What about pulling about 8000-9000 lbs., what pressure would you recommend?

Thanks!

What does the tire say on it for PSI, probably want to be close to that while towing.
I run 60 in the front & 40 out back with my 285's, bump it up to 60 when towing, 60 psi is max for my rims.

Max says 65 psi. I talked with the guys at Discount Tire where I bought them and they said to run 50-55 psi normally and 65 psi when towing. I think I am going to run 55 psi in the front and 50 psiin the rear for day to day use.

Play around with the pressures & see what you like, I run mine at those pressures to get even tire wear.

With my Silverado 1500, I ran my 285/75/16 BFG ATs at 47 psi up front and 45 psi in the rear. Never had a problem with wear or mileage or handling even when towing my bass boat. I had about 53,000 miles on them when I got a set of new ones and I could have run them at least another 5000.

I know this is a much heavier vehicle, but I don't plan on too high of pressures, since it seems it would just sacrafice some of the ride quality. However, with a little higher pressure I may also get a little better mileage.
