This is my first post and I'm glad to be a part of this forum. I hope to be able to contribute something worth while here someday. My question is:

I bought '02 Chev 2500HD D/A and it states that it's a special paint.
I really like the color and haven't seen any others like it with the same color. The tag in the glove box says:

BC/CC 52D
WA228A

I understand that that's the paint code but what is the color called?

how do i attach a picture? I tried to attach using the radial button but it doesn't post.

Hit "post reply" down near the bottom, see "manage attachments" hit that. In the new window that appears, load your pic using the browse feature. keep in mind there is a size limit. You may have to email yourself the pic to downsize it, or use a resizing program first. after you upload the pic, just close that window. youll see the name of the pic in "manage attachments". Just hit "submit reply" and you're done.

I have yet to see a book from gm..however, since I mix paint at work, I have the color chips for almost every color out there listed by manufacturer and year..
you need to know what a color is, don't hesistate to pm me :)
