Question. Does the dpf hurt performance even when the motor is not in a regen cycle? or, I guess a better way to ask is, if you remove the dpf, do you get anytime performance gains? The reason, my buddy has an 08 dodge cummins with an auto trans, he has the dpf delete kit... my 2009 da is completely stock.. he always talks smack so i thought we could just hook up a gooseneck, put a big ole tractor on there time how long it takes to get a mile or so down the road, then change the trucks and do the same distance.. the winner is the winner. if he has no real tuner.. can I win?

If all he has is dpf delete, you'll win.

x2, brother in law with MC 6.7 auto, both have same 5ver, I could leave him by a couple truck/trailer lengths up to 60mph, equal to about 50ft or so, when both trucks were stock (I did have the aftermarket wheels and much heavier tires on at the time). Now, mine's not stock, his still is, not a fair comparison, I can leave him pretty easy. Chris
