I crawled under my new (to me) '06 today to check for the pump rub issue. I noticed that there are a few (2-3) small areas on the case which are a little bit damp (nowhere near dripping, just a slight dampness with a bit of dust stuck to it). I'm wondering if this is normal? I checked the area notorious for the pump rub, I don't see any holes. No drips on the driveway whatsoever.

don't worry about a damp area or two for now, now if it drips there is a issue.
