Just Bought A 2005 2500hd D/a And Want To Get Different Tires. I Really Like The Stock 245's And Would Like To Stay With The Same Size. Torn Between The Revos And The Michelin Ltx/ms. Suggestions? :)

You're talking about two very different tires, so it really depends on where you live and how you use the truck. My '94GMC gas truck with 214K miles has LTX-M/S tires and is 4WD but withOUT limited slip. The first set went 70,000 miles and this set will probably repeat that, but I never drive the truck anymore. The Michelin is a great handling, quiet, road tire and works fine plonking across dirt and sagebrush either in 2 or 4WD. But on wet pavement those tires are it can be spooky in 2WD. And even in 4WD they're scary on ice or packed snow. On a slushy highway I've never felt completey secure. So for winter use that truck got it's winter wheels with Bridgestone Winter Duelers, which are just unbelievably good. Even in 2WD they're a mile better than the LTX in 4WD. If you live in snow country (or plan any trips there) and want to make do with one set of tires, no question get the Revo. My DMax is about ready for new rubber which will most likely be the Revo. But get 265's at least...they'll ride smoother and last longer.

I don't have Revo's but I have stock rims with Toyo 285's and I like the look. You will most likely have to raise the torsion bars to keep them from rubbing if you decide to run a larger tire over the 265..... Good luck
