Hey guys, I just got my superchips programmer in and went to install it, everything was going good, it went to start saving my stock program and then it came up with an error communication 002 message and I had to exit the installation, now my truck won't start at all. I have tried to plug the programmer back in and it doesn't recognize that the key is in the on position. I tried calling superchips but they are out of the offices till the morning. I need help getting my truck to run, this is my work and personal truck. Help me out guys.

Try disconnecting both positive and negative battery cables on both batteries..........
Then with the cables not connected to the batteries at all touch the positive and negative cable ends together and leave them for 15 minutes........
Then reconnect both cable sets to the batteries and see if it starts or can be restored to stock.........
Then return the superchips and buy something that will be more reliable..........
Good Luck,

It's not the programmers fault. Was the onstar disabled? Was the lights shut off?Was the emergency brake on to shut off daytime running lights?Battery fully charged?Shut off all power consuming devices.

thanks midwest, and there is nothing wrong with the programmer, and it's not the programmers fault. Superchips is a very good programmer. But I have gotten it fixed and installed fully. I just took it for a test drive and I love my truck soooo much more now. I do appreciate the help though guys.

Cool Problem solved so now I can move this elsewhere and out of the 911 section.
Also Bob, you might tell us how you got it running again for the next guy.

Just had to remove the negative battery cables for 15 mins and then reattach.
