anyone know of a fuse or remote i can hook to that will supply key on power that does NOT cut out during engine cranking?

you lookin' in the cab or under the hood? In the cab you can find Run/Start voltage in the MBEC. Take a look at this manual Full Size Truck electric 2003+ (http://http://www.gmupfitter.com/publicat/2004_BB/2003_Beyond_LD_Electric_CK.pdf)

Look to page B-8 MID BEC Power center, it will give a description. What you are looking for us Run/Start voltage.

If you need it under the hood do some searching for lift pumps and wiring, should be able to find some directions on where others have connected there lift pump.

I believe it stands for Mid-Body-Electrical-Center or something close to that.

Mid Bussed Electrical Center, Mid Body Electrical Center... It is the black box by where your left foot rests when you drive.

If this is for a critical component like a car computer you will need to add a 12v/12v DC converter so the voltage doesn't ripple even when using the power source chosen.

it also says stuff about not removing your antilock brake fuses last time i checked lol
