Tires: 37 or 38" toyo mt's.
Lift: 9-11" CST or the 10-12" Cognito
The rims would be 22" XD Series Hoss Gloss black on a black crewcab Dmax, I just cant choose what lift and tire size. I dont want to do any major trimming or have to worry about it rubbing just need to know what would look best.
Thanks

oh you dont even have the truck yet? 09 will need the 10-12 to fit 37's or 38's you could even jam some 40's in there

Right I just want to get everything then buy the truck and get everything slapped on instead of waiting and what not, but what would look best 40s or 38s? I'm kinda leanin towards the 38s.

Why limit yourself to those two lift kits? Since this seems to be a Cognito community you will get plenty of advise to buy Cognito.
I almost bought Cognito for my truck until I checked out the new kit from Rize industries. What you will get from Rize is 460 lbs. of extremely well designed and engineered steel - much stronger than either CST or Cognito. Many people on this board are complaining that there is a lot of steel hanging down from the truck (the Rize kit) but they don't realize that this huge frame work is actually carrying the weight of your truck.
The Rize kit comes with a completely re engineered frame for your steering, there is no little welded idler bracket (like Cognito) but a massive artwork with ball bearings supported by the main drop down frame etc. There is a big support frame hiding the torsion bar, this frame pivots not only up and down but also sideways. Every part is extremely heavy duty and the kit is VERY easy to install. Not a single cut of any part, no welding and therefore can be completely reversed if so desired. It will space out your trucks front end by only 1 cm per side while the Cognito will space your front track by 1 inch per side - much more stress on the front end!
True, the Rize will cost more than the other two but its complete, nothing more to buy for your steering etc. and its easier to install than both Cognito or especially CST which involves lots of cutting making it impossible going back to stock (if you don't want to weld the brackets back on ...:D).
So look at all your options before deciding on a big lift. BTW I would recommend 37" Toyos for your 22s.

So if not that rize kit you would have gone cognito right.

I hate all that bs that rise has hanging down under the truck. Just alittle to much for me.

Cognito... Not because I own that big of a lift, but because my own research tells me so!! Just my opinion of course, talk to people who have done them, have them and make your own educated decision.

Dunno if those links will work, but although the rize kit is a "high quality" lift all that metal under it really is to much for me, im just lookin for a big lift thats clean and i think im just going to go with the cognito lift.

I would definitely go cognito IF it didn't push the front tires out 1-1/2" per side, that is just a bit much for my taste.
If they could tuck that in to 3/4" per side it would be awesome.
