: what are your intake are temps? j4nash 08-02-2010, 12:49 PM With the stock Intake this summer when towing 10-15K my Intake air temp is about 38-50 deg over ambient this summer my Intake air temp is about 140 deg and has been as high as a 150 deg what has everyone else seen? davelbz 08-03-2010, 12:09 AM Hi, I have the Banks system with the scoop and the plate removed. When my truck is stopped the temp is several degrees over my mirror, but once I'm moving it drops fast how close it gets to my mirror depends on how steady and how fast I'm moving. At freeway speed my IQ says I am within a degree of my mirror temp most of the time. It's too bad my truck doesn't make 500 horse power or 30 to 50 degrees cooler intake temp might help....oh well JD4440 08-03-2010, 12:20 AM About 10-15 deg over the mirror. I've relocated my mirror sensor to the fender liner though so it's more accurate.
