Hi there I'm a new guy here, and to diesels. From Reading, PA...hopefully there's some members near me that could give me a hand HAHA.
I just traded my 1983 F-150 for a 1985 C-20 6.2, apparently i inherited someones basket case. The truck broke down on my way home . It's an old PENNdot truck....but i like her alot...other than the breaking down.
I'll post pictures up when i get some, after the rain stops ha.

You might want to post something in the 6.2 section of the site that's where all the 6.2 experts hang out. I don't know that much about those motors I would do more harm then good

haha....i have been chatting with those guys....they've given me alot of good info.
It's a combination problem i believe. i found some bad wiring while hunting for a fuel related problem. so i'm trying to kill two birds with one stone here.
The damned of it is now it decided to start pouring just as i was getting ready to throw the charger on the truck so i can see if my efforts would prove fruitful or not.

Bad day to have your shop outside I've been trying to do some work on my truck all day but it keeps threatening rain. What I'd give for a nice shop about now.....

indeed. I'd be able to work indoors if 2 things would happen. 1.) the truck would run and 2.) my mom would come home from vacation. Her husband has a full shop at their house. minus a lift unfortunately.

I think it might clear up later on. Hopefully then you can bring your 6.2 back to life

I sure hope so. I'm hoping either the fuel filter was clogged or the electrical problems i found were the problem. if not it's looking bleak untill i can pick up an injection pump. and they are hella hard to find. especially in my area.

Just a quick update. It is on fact the injection pump. So now I get to wait to receive one I just purchased from a fellow member in the mail.
