in canadian mileage being km's the warranty is 193,000 kms. or 11 years from the in service date. just had mine warrantied. they will insist you swap a new fuel filter in at a minimum or get a complete fuel tank cleaning as well as lines flushed at most depending on what they feel caused the pump to fail. good luck

"Beware of the tank cleaning" a voice called from the sky. :)

The tank cleaning is the dealer's cash cow many times. They tell you that tank lining is flaking off or something like that. (If it's flaking off, then why not a new tank? I never understood that) The tank cleaning idea came from the 94-95 years that had steel rollers in the IP's. They would pit and send junk back through the return line and contaminate the whole system.

120,000 miles or 11 years in the US. 11 years measured in US time ;) .

The special bulletin is for trucks from 1994 to 2001 with a 6.5L diesel engine. It is for 11 years or 120,000 miles. Your VIN number must be in their breakpoints outlined in the bulletin. If you need additional information on the VIN or the bulletin, you can e-mail me at bhhd54@earthlink.net
