For anyone that's curious, I sent an email to BFG asking when production of this tire will start again, and will a mud terrain be available in this size. This was their response:

"Thank you for visiting our Web site and sending us your e-mail Wes.
Unfortunately, the All Terrain KO in size LT285/65R18 is not available at
this time. We hope to start production in August. There are no plans at
this time to product the Mud Terrain in this size. We apologize for any
inconvenience."

So hopefully there will be some available next month. Now if they would only make the mud terrain in the same 15,000 sizes that they make the all terrain...

At $300 a tire, plus international shipping??? No thanks, I ordered a set of 285/60/18 Nittos Terra Grapplers this morning... Had BFG replied that they ARE going to start production next month, instead of "we HOPE to start production...", I probably could have waited and made my tires last until then. But even the Nittos are getting scarce around here because of BFG dragging their feet. Local tire shop is having a set shipped up from L.A. for me, will be here either tomorrow or thursday...

Pep boys has the BFG 285/65/18, but they want 290 a tire for them...
